GRANTS MANAGEMENT

DESCRIPTION:

This course will thoroughly cover the financial aspects of the federal grant process. Its aim is to assist government and non-profit agencies to plan, obtain, evaluate, and successfully close out grants. Participants will get a practical understanding of the limitations placed on the grantor and the grantee in the use of grant funds. Reporting requirements are described. During the class, participants will have the opportunity to work with the instructor on their specific grant questions and cases.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to plan projects, complete grant applications, and successfully close out grants. Participants will also increase their understanding of:
