HAPI KICKOFF 2002

 

OBJECTIVES:

 

HAPI will be reviewing its goals for 2002 and introducing current and new members.  Attendees will then become familiarized with the State of Arizona’s tactics on Asset Managements Systems for Pavement Maintenance.  Speakers for this presentation include Mr. Jim Delton, Arizona DOT who will discuss Rationale, Performance Measures, Goals, Resources, Funding, and Success of Arizona’s Pavement Management System.  Mr. Lorne Fleming from Roadtec will be displaying his new RX 10 milling machine and on hand to discuss the many ways Roadtec is improving pavement construction techniques with their equipment.  In addition, Mr. John Duval from the Asphalt Institute will be on hand to give attendees an overview of what the Asphalt Institute does for the paving industry and how they can assist with concerns or questions relating to asphalt pavements.

 

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

 

The seminar has been designed for the engineer, technicians, and contractor personnel responsible for management and maintenance of asphalt pavements.  Participants should include personnel from federal, state, county, FAA Navy and local agencies, airport/harbor authorities, paving contractors, mix producers, consulting engineers, and testing laboratories.
